Tory Lanez Arraignment Pushed Back In Megan Thee Stallion Alleged Shooting Case.

The arraignment of Tory Lanez was postponed on Tuesday until November.

The Canadian Singer/Rapper whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, was scheduled to be arraigned on charges of assault with a firearm and possession of an unregistered gun.

The hearing was postponed to Nov. 18, according to a court spokesperson. The court also issued an order directing Tory to stay away from Megan.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office set his bail to $190,000 and filed a protection order against Tory, ordering him to stay away from Megan Thee Stallion. Just last week the District Attorney charged Tory with three felony charges including assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

Tory was initially arrested in the Hollywood Hills at about 4:40 a.m. on July 12 on a weapons charge. He was released later that morning on a $35,000 bond.

After a Los Angeles Police Department investigation, authorities followed up with additional charges for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot as she exited the SUV they were riding in.

Initial reports indicated that Megan Thee Stallion had been injured by broken glass following an argument. Over the following days and weeks, Megan accused Tory of shooting her in the feet. She also posted photos of her injured feet on Instagram.

In an hour-long album Tory Memorialised the incident, he rapped “How the f— you get shot in your foot, don’t hit no bones or tendons?”

On Friday, Tory responded on Twitter to the charges brought against him, saying “the truth will come to the light. A charge is not a conviction, If you have supported me or meg thru this, I genuinely appreciate u.”

If convicted, Tory is looking at a maximum sentence of 22 years. The case remains under investigation by the LAPD, Hollywood Division.
